Carl P. Henry, CPA: Carl has been a CPA for over 40 years and is a member of the AICPA and MICPA. His business has grown both in clients and in expertise, with a client list ranging from small businesses to $40+ million corporations and nonprofit organizations. Carl’s primary focus has been on tax planning and preparations for individuals, corporations, and trusts, but he is also knowledgeable in auditing and accounting principles. Paul J. Link, CPA: Paul has been a CPA for nearly 20 years and is a member of the AICPA and MICPA. He joined Henry & Company, P.C. in 1996 after spending several years with a Bloomfield Hills public accounting firm. His expertise has been on attestation and financial reporting services, forecasting and projections, and advisory services as well as tax planning and preparation. Kathy (Coffman) Rea: A statistical typist and the office manager, Kathy came from a CPA family and started working for a local firm directly out of high school in 1967. After time at a national firm in Alaska, she returned to Michigan and worked 25 years with two local firms. Melissa S. Lynch: Melissa S. Lynch has worked in public accounting since 2006. She gained a love of accounting when she worked for a payroll company back in 2001 which led to her knowing what she wanted to go to college for. Since then, she has added to her professional toolbelt by learning many areas of accounting and tax. Over the last couple of years, she has become the go to person when it comes to trust accounting and taxation. Trust accounting itself is its own specialty. She joined the firm in February of 2020 right before the world was rocked by the covid pandemic. She has been instrumental in helping clients navigate the Payroll Protection Program (PPP) loan forgiveness coupled with the Employee Retention Tax Credit (ERTC). She continues to take initiative in meeting the client’s needs with a friendly and empathic manner. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Western Governors University. Linda Runstrom: Linda has been with The Henry Group since 2020. Before her time at The Henry Group, she worked 23 years for a private company and was responsible for monthly accounting for numerous entities within the organization. Cade Cordone: Cade is an aspiring CPA who graduated from Oakland University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Cade is currently taking courses at Walsh College towards his Masters in Tax, which will help him meet the requirements to sit for the CPA exams.
